System connection

1. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery to the controller according to the figure, and the controller will automatically detect the battery voltage.

2. Connect the positive and negative poles of the load to the controller according to the diagram, and be careful not to reverse connection.

3. Connect the solar panel to the controller as shown in the figure.

Menu key: Switch to the parameter screen, or hold down the function key to enter or exit parameter setting

Flip up: On the parameter setting screen, tap once to add one step to the parameter

Why is my solar panel's output low?

The performance of solar panels can be affected by various factors. Common environmental conditions, such as indirect sunlight, higher temperatures, cloudy skies, and dust or dirt accumulation on the glass, can all lead to reduced power output.

How should I connect the solar panels in the circuit (series or parallel)?

Solar panels can be connected in series or parallel to meet your circuit size and power requirements. Connecting panels in series will add their working voltage output together while keeping the current output the same as a single panel. Connecting panels in parallel will add the current output of each panel while keeping the voltage output the same as a single panel. To achieve the best power output and system rating, you may use a combination of series and parallel connections.

How many solar panels do I need?

The best way to determine how many solar panels you need is to understand and define the power load required by your system. Power is measured in watts, and capacity is usually measured in watt-hours (watts output multiplied by the required operating hours, then multiplied by a safety factor of 1.5-2).
